The service enables Vodafone customers to search for a destination on a PC on the Multimap website and send the search result to a mobile phone - free of charge. They can then get driving directions from Multimap's Driving Direction Service, or use the Find & Go service to get turn-by-turn pedestrian or driving directions.
Find & Go also suggests alternative routes and ETA based on traffic conditions.
Mobile network positioning means that users don't need to wait for their GPS-embedded handsets to pick up a satellite signal, and searching for locations is possible even indoors or out of the GPS signal range.Tags:
