The acquisition expands Trimble's ability to offer comprehensive solutions for a variety of Mobile Resource Management (MRM) applications including fleet management for light-duty and long-haul trucking.
Accutest manufactures products for system and software validation, hardware-in-the-loop, diagnostics, end-of-line test, remote on-board diagnostics, diagnostic access and monitoring, telematics and fleet management systems (FMS) access.
Accutest also provides expertise in the design and development of network communications, at both the system and component level, over Controller Area Network (CAN), Local Interconnect Network (LIN), Media Oriented Systems Transport (MOST) and FlexRay-bus networks.
Accutest will be part of Trimble's Mobile Solutions segment.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
