The software has new routing algorithms, enabling truckers to avoid small town roads and narrow residential areas where possible, as well as comply with height and weight restrictions.
Typical truck speeds are taken into account to produce realistic ETAs.
A driver can simply enter his vehicle's parameters - measurements, axle weight and total weight - into the software and it will do the rest.
The solution is provided as an optional accessory on SD card, which comes with maps of Central and Western Europe; and truck navigation is available in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Benelux and the UK.Tags:
