Information will be categorised by different segments including bar/pub, nightlife, restaurants, fast-food and hotels.
The agreement with Aurestaurant.com gives Tele Atlas digital map users access to information about more than 100,000 restaurants in 15,000 cities in France.
Users can search for a restaurant by region and city, or from a list of 24 specialities. Users will have access to a range of information for each destination, including reservation options, accessibility, type of kitchen, menu, average price and reviews.
The agreement with Ridal gives Tele Atlas digital map users access to a database of nearly 54,000 restaurants in Italy.
Information includes detailed listings for each Italian province and for major cities across the country, including Florence, Milan, Rome and Venice. Details include a description of the restaurant, reservations, accessibility, type of kitchen, menu, daily specials, average price and opening hours.
Under the agreements, the POIs listings and related content will be available for application developers and device manufacturers to incorporate into personal and in-car navigation systems powered by Tele Atlas maps.You may share using our article tools.
