Following the successful launch of ProNav in the UK, Navevo has partnered with The NCC to deliver a Goodyear-branded sat nav device for North America that will be available early in the second quarter 2009.
The new Goodyear GY500X features Navevo's ProNav software, which has been designed from the ground up to meet the specific needs of truckers, providing dynamic routing and navigation capabilities using driver-set parameters such as vehicle dimensions, hazmat and legal restrictions.
According to Navevo CEO Nick Caesari, the launch in the US is a strategic step towards the company's goal of making ProNav available to commercial vehicle drivers all over the world.© Copyright Telematics Update 2010
